Victims of Air Related DVT Association

Due to the concern of sufferers of air-related deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and bereaved families of those who died from the condition, VARDA was established in 2001. It is chaired by Ruth Christoffersen whose 28-year-old daughter died after a flight from Australia.

The aim of this group is promotion of awareness and the provision of support for victims and their families.
